Prodec Painting operate in a genuinely rare trade. There are only three or four operators in the state doing what they do: specialist painting and the restoration of high end timber, including doors worth thirty and forty thousand dollars. It is closer to craft than trade work. But a small market cuts both ways. With so few jobs and so few competitors, every one of those competitors was chasing exactly the same work. The business was running on a basic self built website that gave no sense of the quality of the workmanship, so the thing that actually set them apart was invisible to anyone searching.

The Challenge

What We Did
- Built a new website designed around the work itself, with before and after galleries across the full range of restoration and specialist painting jobs
- Laid the site out to do justice to craft level work, closer to a portfolio than a standard trade site
- Surfaced client reviews throughout to build trust ahead of the enquiry, important when the jobs involve very expensive materials
- Launched an ongoing SEO campaign targeting the specialist search terms that matter in a small, high value market
- Structured the site and its content so the specialist positioning was clear to both search engines and prospective clients

Cedarwood
restoration contract won
The visibility from the new site and SEO campaign led directly to a contract with Cedarwood, one of WA's major timber door suppliers, as their go to restoration specialist for customer referrals. Specialist enquiries have continued to build alongside it.
CLIENT TESTIMONIAL
What Ashley Says
“There’s only a handful of us doing this sort of work, so standing out matters. My old site didn’t show any of that. The new one actually puts the work in front of people, and the before and afters do the talking for me. The enquiries have gone up a lot and I’m booked months ahead now. Landing the Cedarwood contract off the back of it was the big one.”
